From Lindsey's mom.....

Our family just wants to let you all know that we are moving along in the journey of grief. We are so thankful for the support of all Lindsey's friends all over the world and our friends. We made it through the holidays-we were kept very busy but we talked and remembered Lindsey. Someone so full of life and goodness is surely busy up above!

Our Christmas tree this year was decorated with grapes, grapevines and ribbons. It was in memory of Grandpa Ferris who died in November 2005 and Lindsey. Grandpa had a long row of grapes and the harvest this past fall (2006) was exceptional. Lindsey lived in the Mosel area in Germany and we were able to see vineyards and visit a winery when we were there in May 2005. I saw the tree decorated in a garden shop here and just knew that I needed to reproduce it (well not quite) but a semblance as a tribute to them. It is hard to believe that her one year anniversary of death is this month. It seems like yesterday.

In February, Nick and Bev will be blessing us with a baby boy. I expect we will be busy grandparents!

Hugs and kind words are so powerful!
